Independent Living Assistance Program

Through the Independent Living Assistance (ILA) Program, we provide financial assistance to human trafficking survivors. We want to ensure these individuals become self-sufficient and are able to live safely and independently. This can be a challenge, and additional support is often needed.

The Independent Living Assistance Program supports our partner organizations across the state to bridge any gaps in services provided to survivors. MCAHT works through our ILA Program to assist those individuals who are participating in or have graduated from programs leading to their new lives of healing and independence, as well as others with specific vulnerabilities as determined on a case-by-case basis.

ILA covers housing expenses, utilities, groceries, medical care, dental care, and more. For more information on how our ILA Program assists survivors of human trafficking, email ILAProgram@nomoreht.org.

Disclaimer: All survivors seeking ILA Program assistance are required to collaborate with a case manager from a service provider to complete their application. If you do not currently have a case manager, please contact us via email, and we will be happy to provide a referral.
